Thanks for checking in. I don't keep this page as current as I did in the off-season. Jayme has been keeping the main Palmer Volleyball Page well stocked with information and photos, so if you haven't checked it recently you should. palmervolleyball.blogspot.com Thanks Jayme!
We play twice this week which seems light after last week. It will be good to get some uninterrupted practice in later in the week.
I'm looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow
Again if you want lots of volleyball info check the main page

Colony vs Palmer
OK, I know i have been terribly bad about updating this page, but here we go!
Chugiak Invite was last weekend. Jame covered it nicely on the main Palmer Volleyball Page, so i will move to last night's 5 game thriller with Colony at their place.
Both teams played pretty evenly throughout. There were plenty of long rallies, great plays. and stressful moments. Here are some of my favorites in no particular order
Someone shanked a dig into the net MM got down below it waited for it to come out from the bottom of the net and passed up a perfect "2" set for a waiting KS. really a pretty play and a good example of patience during a play. The same MM teamed up with NC for many good blocks - unfortunately for Palmer - Colony covered their hitters very well! We blocked Colony's SH a bunch but it didn't matter they just kept picking it back up and setting up some new play. darn them anyway!
JA and DP were sensational from the serving line serving 25 and 26 points apiece very nice work there ladies. I was pleased to see the extra serving DP did after practice pay off like that.
Hitting- Everyone was hitting pretty well, and taking turns being the hot hitter KV bombed a few great shots. CG as well- we all like the CG cheer after the kills best of all. NC had the most kills for the night but MM thundered a "4" that was pretty darn spectacular. This makes me wonder who had the biggest thunderbolt last night? Hm.... I know KV had one that was pretty incredible, so di CG, NC and MM, JA too! hm ok I have no idea who i would give the huge hit award to
Setting- all three setters had their moments of brilliance MM"s was a "1" set to NC I think that was my favorite just because it was so pretty. JA put up some "4's" that i wished I'd been hitting and DP had some great backsets. Good performances from all three I'd have to say.
Many games are on the horizon for us so I am anxious to see what the team will do next. Keep working hard, and let's see where we can go.
